Lindsey and the rest of the team can't wait to welcome you back to Waveney River Centre very soon. We're very much looking forward to opening our doors to visitors from tomorrow, Wednesday 2nd December. Touring, glamping or camping pitches will be available to book from Wednesday 2nd onwards and all other accommodation will be available from 4th December. https://www.waveneyrivercentre.co.uk/

As well as private and visitor moorings, we have a boat building & service centre which includes a 2,500 sq.ft. workshop and 35 ton boat hoist, enabling our team to provide almost any service you may dream up. Servicing and winterising facilities are available, for most types of engines and drives.

Autumn is a lovely time to get out for a walk. Take a 2 minute trip on our ferry to the edge of Carlton Marshes - Suffolk Wildlife Trust Nature Reserve, where you can follow the Angles Way along the riverbank to the market town of Beccles (3 hours) or the village of Oulton Broad (45-60 minutes).

Today is National Play Monopoly Day. Designed by Elizabeth Magie in 1902, the game has been played by an estimated 500 million people since then. Get your banker cap on!

Hopefully, new visitor centre, trails and hides at Carlton Marshes - Suffolk Wildlife Trust will all open by mid-October. In the meantime, keep a lookout for Barn Owls hunting in the marshes, or you might still catch a glimpse of a Reed Warbler too!
