Our Fishing Basics program for May 15 has moved online! Check out our Facebook page for a series of video links for folks that are new to the sport or just getting back into fishing. Starting this Friday, a video link of different basic fishing topics will be added to our page each day through Sunday. Take a picture of your family fishing over the weekend, post it to our Facebook page, and be entered to win one of three prize packages including a t-shirt, outdoor cookbook and marshmallow roasters.

Hello all! Lake Thompson Recreation Area is open! A news story last evening stated our park road was underwater and inaccessible. This Is Not Correct! Our road is not underwater and is completely accessible for all vehicles. We hope to see you at the park this coming weekend and all throughout the upcoming summer and fall seasons.... Thank you!
