Campsite - Sands Caravan and Camping, Gairloch

In light of yesterday’s announcement we are having to close the site a bit earlier than expected. We will be closing the site from tomorrow, the 21st of December. If you have a booking with us we are just in the process of getting in touch with you all. Not quite what we were expecting for our Sunday morning. I’ll take this opportunity to say thank you to all our guests this year that have followed the rules and made a stressful season that bit less stressful. We hope you all have a great festive break, a very different time for all of us but let’s get through this and look forward to 2021 and what will hopefully be a better time for us all.

it’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas

Fishy Friday delights this week are scallops, smoked haddock, lemon sole, haddock and hot smoked salmon. Christmas treats Loads of new cheeses in today and plenty Christmas treats still available

Is it too early to talk cocktails we have alcohol free treats too. Can highly recommend the Cairn O Mohr alcohol free Elderdlower cider and the Braes o Gowrie sparkling elderflower. Can also recommend the Dark Matter spiced rum Nigel the cat is totally not feeling my Christmas vibes

Anybody else have to get the house extra clean for Christmas? And again for new year.... I love a spring clean. The box of wine is just a treat for after not during the cleaning.

It’s December the 1st which means we’re allowed to get the Christmas tunes on and start the Christmas shopping please don’t tell me if you’ve finished your Christmas shopping shop open 9-5 Monday to Saturday and 9-4 Sunday. Feel free to come have a browse. Perfect day for a walk on the beach and then shopping for Christmas spirit. George has come out of lockdown to help with the Christmas spirit. His one size fits all Santa suit didn’t take into account his lockdown diet though

Fun day Monday. Another beautiful day for beach walks, just wrap up good. It’s super chilly. Just got more stock of Cairn o Mohr treats, shelves are filled with goodies and Nigel is unimpressed with Elf getting more picture time than her so either that or she’s worried elf was feeling cold.
