Lakesiders!! What a weird couple of months! We thought it was time to give you an update from the Lake! although while some things seem clearer, others remain a mystery. Lakeside is getting ready for summer, just like we always have lots of painting, repairs and, of course, grass growing!... As of today, May 7, we are following the phased plan as presented by John Horgan and Bonnie Henry. As a result we will remain closed to non-essential travel until at least June 1. Providing we all behave ourselves there is a decent possibility we can open for summer in some form or other. So be good and stay tuned . . . For our clients who have already made the choice not to travel this year we totally respect that. Please contact us however you’d like and we’ll move your reservation and deposit to 2021. The arrival date in 2021 will be one calendar day earlier than this year. Stay safe everyone!!

March 23, 2020 To our Lakeside Family. What strange and unprecedented times we live in! We moved our lives to Lakeside in the Summer of 1991 and we’ve have experienced many shocks to the norm throughout that time.... Here we go again... With this message, we’re addressing some questions many of you must have: We are planning to operate Lakeside this summer, unless we hear otherwise from the reliable authorities we entrust our decisions to. For that we rely on the British Columbia provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry, who can be heard for daily updates on the radio at 3PM, and here’s the website: http://www.phsa.ca/ We are actively preparing for the upcoming season, performing upgrades, maintenance and repairs and getting the grounds in order. Accordingly, and if you’re considering, we urge you not to cancel any bookings just yet. Your confirmed booking is what secures your favorite spot. If upon further reflection you elect to submit a formal cancellation of your spot, and per our policies, we acknowledge that you’ll receive 90% of your deposit (if you choose to cancel prior to 30 days) and Lakeside will process that request as soon as possible. Due to current fluid circumstances please email questions or concerns for individual responses to [email protected] as we are not minding the phones very actively this week. We trust you are all rationally practicing healthy Social Distancing (keep 6’ apart and wash those hands!) and getting some fresh air. Just to clarify! Fyi to all: today we are working on booking "regular" summer reservations. This does not mean we are working on the wait lists at this moment. We will not know what's open for others until we have completed bookings on our end. For those who are trying to book your usual spots today, if phones are busy/unanswered please leave a message or send an email! Thank you!

Tomorrow is the day!! FEBRUARY 1st IS THE DEADLINE to have all summer reservations booked and deposits paid! Pass it along to everyone this might apply to! We will be working on wait lists to fill unreserved spots soon!
