Our flock of Hebridean sheep naturally repairing the landscape at Hill Farm Hebridean sheep have established a reputation as a breed to manage delicate ecosystems. They will encourage fresh growth of grass and flowers, and their hooves will flatten the ground over time as they graze making the perfect base for our glamping Hill Farm site

B U S H C R A F T Across half term, we were lucky enough to have Josh from Pennine Bushcraft deliver a bushcraft session to a pair of our glamping guests. Bushcraft allows you to connect with nature whilst respecting and protecting wild places. This workshop focused on outdoor living, learning how to build a shelter, fire and bake bread - from scratch!... As 2021 creeps closer we look forward to welcoming more wellness activities to the Estate, watch this space.

And that's a wrap! Today we started packing away the first layer of Hill Farm Bell Tents and started reflecting on what a truly amazing season it is has been. From summer days to autumnal evenings, collectively as a team, we have safely and securely welcomed nearly 10,000 guests through the Estate gates to our beautiful space. We would like to thank our amazing team who have worked effortlessly in all departments to create your magical moments. Despite recent announcements ...and by popular request we will be opening our Chestnut Lodge retreat in December when we are able. Keep an eye on this space for release dates as the festive season approaches, so if you want a hot tub in the woods, mulled wine and a log burning fire this winter, watch this space. As a direct result of your feedback the off season always gives the chance to realise exciting ideas, novel concepts and cunning plans that you have told us that you want to see. All of these developments you will watch in the coming months as we look to improve our natural experiences for you to enjoy in the New Year. There’s gonna be big changes!!!
