Our friendly sheep went for a trim last weekend, thanks to our neighbour Colin. All sheared, ready for summer & looking a bit different from their usual woolly coats. They are enjoying having guests back here again & their new yards .

Veggie garden is done, just a few more spaces to fill. Asparagus, strawberries, tomatoes, capsicum, eggplant, lettuce, onions, buk choy, beetroot, beans, peas, corn, cucumber, zucchini, artichoke, watermelon,rockmelon & pumpkins. Fruit trees well in the way - fruit starting to poplots to go around for friends, family & camp guests visiting @Nillawarre

What a great group we had stay during the week. Charlotte & friends came to stay for a graduation/final study camp out celebration. Awesome bunch who left us this lovely message & our site/kitchen absolutely spotlessThanks so much see you next time! A huge Thank you to all our guests for your bookings, requests & messages after today's announcement. We are very excited to have you all back again as soon as we can.We are working through all previous bookings that were cancelled several times as priority as well as processing new bookings. Not all sites can be open as we are still waiting for a week or so of dry weather to harvest our hay & some sites are too wet. We will respond as soon as possible, thanks for your supp...ort & patience. Youcamp has now also changed to Hipcamp which we need to adjust to as well. Hi all, With Vic Gov restrictions we are still only allowed to accept booking from regional travellers. Melbourne guest will have to wait a lot longer unfortunately Looks like even Nov 1st will still have Melb-Regional Bubble in place.

We were lucky to have the MJ family - Pat, Bry & their beautiful kiddies stay with us recently during their journey to travel Australia. They originally came for a few nights, which after travel restrictions with "covid & iso" became a lengthy unexpected stay & now get longest stay award! We loved every day with their family watching them join in our farm life. Helping with feeding animals, moving/tagging cows, crutching sheep (our 1st attempt ), seeing new life calves ...born & saying goodbye to others, paddocks ploughed & seeing our crops grow,campfire chats & lots of laughs We had such an adventure riding the highs & some lows together. Thanks so much for your friendship & now a part of our Nillawarre family forever. We will miss you all, but so much more of our wonderful country for you all to see together. We have been busy planting trees at our campsites for more shade in future The cows are keeping busy trying to mow the grass down ready for visitors again soon. More rain expected this weekend will keep creek flowing too

We hope everyone is keeping well & hopefully not long until our Melb guests return again We have had some "essential" travellers stay during ISO -regional guests travelling around Australia & got stuck in Victoria with us. Thanks for staying Matt, Cat & Hale (Taz loved it too! ) Working from camp & chilling out, safe travels & enjoy your next stage out the adventure

Once again we will be in touch with all our guests with current bookings hoping Victoria's restrictions would be eased. Unfortunately with today's update no further bookings will be taken until we have the all clear. We are excited to have camp bookings available for school holidays restrictions eased so now we can have full access to ALL amenities for our guests. We will be closed again for August as this is our usual break time & to catch up on farm. So you can now book your dates & long weekends again Can't wait to see you all again & our farm animals are excited to see you all too * some sites may be unavailable during winter & pasture renovations...

Great to hear camping is allowed again We are Full for queens birthday with bookings placed on hold prior to pandemic. As we are Not allowed to open facilities at all, future bookings are by request only as we have to keep total guests to our minimum of 20 & be self sufficient. Also some sites are not accessible due to wet weather. As soon as we get go ahead for use of facilities we will fully reopen.... Stay safe & happy camping! See more
