My continued hope is that all of our Scouts and every member of their families have stayed well during this challenging time. Today I am writing to inform you that we have made the difficult decision to NOT operate our summer RESIDENT camps this summer at Camp Tahuaya, Worth Ranch nor Sid Richardson Scout Ranch. This decision was made after a lengthy and difficult process of information gathering and discussion, with the main concern being for the safety of our Scouts, leaders and camp staff. Cub Scout Day Camps are still being planned, although some locations and dates have changed. Current information is available on our web site at www.longhorncouncil.org I am pleased to announce that our Scout Shops will open for business on Monday, May 18. Hours and days of operation for the Hurst, Fort Worth, Lewisville and Waco locations are also posted on our web site. Stay tuned, as we intend to share some summer programming opportunities with you that will be available at Longhorn Council camps. Until next time, stay safe!
