Chip Pakkie Kos. Ingredients 500g ground beef seasoning mix ( chilly/red pepper or anything hot)... 1/4 teaspoon pepper 1 can diced tomatoes Garlic 1 can beans in tomato sauce 5 small packets Dorito chips Toppings: Cheese, sour cream and sliced onions Directions In a large skillet, cook beef over medium heat until no longer pink, breaking into crumbles, 6-8 minutes; drain. Stir in chili seasoning mix, pepper, tomatoes and beans; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, until thickened, 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally. Just before serving, cut open chip bags. Add beef mixture and toppings. This was my fav when I was a child and still is. And not a lot of op dishes.

Hot and quick Fishers Meal: Ingredients 1 large onion, chopped 2 tablespoons cooking oil... 2 garlic cloves, minced 4 large potatoes, peeled and cubed 1 can Bullibeef. ( Can use any processed meat) 1 chopped green chile. ( optional) 1 can whole corn kernel ( Pit mielies) Directions In a large ovenproof skillet over medium heat, cook and stir onion in oil until tender. Add garlic; cook 1 minute longer. Add potatoes. Cook, uncovered, for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add "meat"; cook and stir until meat and potatoes are tender and browned, 10-15 minutes. Stir in chiles and corn; heat through.

Something easy and delicious with a braai. Caramalised onions!!! YOU WILL NEED:... Onions cut into wedges Heavy-duty aluminum foil. 2 spoons of butter per onion Braai spice and garlic. ( ANy spice you like actually) Place the onion wedges on a sheet of heavy-duty aluminum foil. Dot with butter, then sprinkle with spice to taste. Fold the aluminum foil into a packet, leaving only a small hole at the top to allow steam to escape. Place packet on preheated grill, and cook until the onions have softened, and cooked to a deep, rich brown, 45 minutes to 1 hour depending on the temperature of the grill. Stir the onions after the first 30 minutes, or as needed to keep from burning. ENJOY!
