Camp Wilmot is delighted to host the ordination service today for Kayla McKinsey. Kayla is being ordained as a minister to serve in the Dover Church in Massachusetts. She has been and continues to be a blessing to all at Camp Wilmot and we wish her every blessing as she starts this next stage in her ministry journey.

Welcome to Scotland! We made it! Together we have traveled 3,242 miles! What an amazing journey we have been on. Camp Wilmot is so much more than a physical place in Wilmot New Hampshire. The love and many blessings of camp are present inside all of us and are carried with us on all of our journey's, whether they are across the sea or across the road. The miles are pouring in now! We have 7 individuals who have walked over 100 miles for Camp Wilmot this month! And the Scottish Gals have regained the lead from Burlington Presbyterian. Its going to be a race to the finish! Why are we walking - over 50% of our campers come from situations of deprivation and receive full funding. We want to enable more young people to be able to say this after attending a summer camp: "Let me just say, camp is an amazing place. The people ar...e so welcoming and are very open. It's a judgement free zone. I came from a very hard past and with all the fear and anger and sadness bottled up inside of me just flow out at camp. No one cares what religion you are or school u go to or the color of your skin or if you are part of the LGBTQ. I believe that this camp changes lives and I wanna be part of that change." "I have a huge heart and Camp Wilmot means the world to me. It is a special place. It is like sharing home with a bunch of people and God."
