Campsite - Houhora Heads Wagener Holiday Park

Thank you to our guests for your patience and understanding during the upgrade of the driveway into the camp. It is looking awesome, it will make a huge difference for everyone driving into the park. It will be ready to drive on mid next week. A huge thanks to Ross and his crew from Stonecraft for the outstanding job, professional great company to work with.

Thank you Keith for these colourful creative birds you made for our garden. You have done an amazing job on them, they will be a great talking point for our guests.

Kids just dont feel the cold.....sun is out so they are in the pool even if the water is a tad bit cool......bbbbrrrrr

A huge shout out to all the camper van hire companies that have reduced their rates for kiwis to have a campervan holiday in our beautiful country. The school holiday were fabulous for our park and I expect many others, even with the wet weather people were still having a fab time. We had kids swimming in the pool, playing at the playground and on the trampolines in all that rain. simply magic after the lockdown period and tough times for many kiwi families. So thank you to those companies for making it possible for people to explore their own country.

We are happy to announce that we will be re-opening from Thursday 14th May so don't hesitate to book online or phone us to do your booking for a few days away for a spot of fishing or just some time out of your home. There will be Level 2 restrictions in place with no gatherings of more than 10 people. The facilities will be open but physical distancing requirements will need to be maintained in the facilities. Other level 2 practices will be in place and you will be informed of these on arrival to the camp. We will require 2 forms of contact details for our contact tracing register for every person in your booking. We are looking forward to getting our park back to business and hope to see you soon.

ALERT LEVEL 3 The park will remain closed during alert level 3. I will continue to update you all to let you know when the park will be re-opening. When we do we hope to see some of you here for a change of scenery and a bit of Houhora happiness but not until we are safe to do so. Take care out there and stay safe.

We will be closed from this morning for the next month due to COVID 19. For our guests that have bookings in that time frame please email through your bank details for a refund of any deposits paid, alternatively you may choose to carry any deposits over to your next booking to be used by the end of May 2021.
