**Attention all anglers Season tickets renewals & last weekend’s catch report** Yesterday we sent out an email to all existing Wyre & Bantons Season ticket holders with information about rule changes and renewals for the 2021/ 22 seaosn. There were 20 ‘undeliverable’s’ so if you have not received an email please contact us at [email protected] or telephone 01527 792093 and provide us with the correct address - Thank you. On the fishing front... The carp are being a little tricky at the moment as the temperatures and weather conditions continue to fluctuate. However, the days are getting longer and we are opening longer each week, so hopefully spring is fast approaching and the carp with start to wake up. On the pike scene things are ticking away nicely with a good number of jacks being landed and surprisingly quite a few pike being caught from Foxs lake. Grandpa Bobby had 5 on Sunday -the biggest 14lb all caught on the lure. Callum ‘The Viking’ has had 3 to 8lb all caught using his pink rod and also Tom had a lovely 8lber Pike coming out from both Sunnys, Wyre, River and Foxs lakes, they seem to be more interested in the lures at the moment Lee McNae has been having some mixed bag sessions on River lake including pike (pictured) and River is starting to wake up with bream, chub, carp, roach and perch all being caught the best bag so for is 30lb this Saturday. We are open daily from 7.30am 6pm Monday to Friday and 7am to 6pm Saturday and Sunday. Stay safe and healthy and warm :)

Good evening to all our members and dayticket anglers. We have just received the information we have been waiting for since last nights announcement by the Prime Minister. Its not good news I'm afraid and it seems that the Angling Trust have lobbied very hard against this decision but with the pandemic reaching ever increasing numbers we have to comply to help protect our NHS and do our part once again.... Any clients with bookings from the 31st of December to the 15th of February will be contacted tomorrow and our booking diary is now closed also until the 15th. We thank you again for your continued patience and support. We will keep you updated with regular posts and if any of you need a chat or want to ask angling questions of any kind, myself, Callum and Tom will be available any time on social media. Thankyou once more for your attention, be positive and kind to each other and we will all come through it once again https://anglingtrust.net/covid-19/
